    Thanks everyone for the kind remarks. Hey Bobo, that bottom jig is actually a candy purple head, purple chenille & purple & white hackle. Oh, & purple thread too. LOL.

    He got the chenille from me guys. I am about to get more of some really beautiful stuff. He didn't get enough to tie a jig from of any of the ones I am about to get though as I only had samples of it myself.

    Vern - if you make up one of the popsical stick and velcro tools you can use it to fluff up the fibers of the krystal chennile that always seem to get rolled over wrapping it in - just go easy when you do it.

    I saw a post about that "tool" here some time ago but never got a look at it. Does anyone have a picture of one?

    I just use a bodkin to fluff just before I tighten the whip finish.

    i have a home made tool like that I use on dubbing and I made it from a large match stick and Velcro wrapped around one end. Of course it's glued on the wood stick. Never tried it for this chenille because the bodkin is so easy to use.
