You guys can sure spend my money
After looking at how some of your boats were rigged today and Rees convincing me that the wife and I need to start gearing up for spider rigging sardis.
Here is my ideas on the gear.
Twin seat bracket from cumberland crappie. 180.00
poles crappie maxx signature 14'
6 240.00
hi tek rod holders 2@ 82.00 each
164.00
Reels: open face spinning
None chosen yet 25.00 x 6 each
150.00
This seems to be the bulk of the cost to start spider rigging for two.
734.00
That doesn't include shipping and applicable sales taxes, line, jigs etc.
So I think we will be single poling from different ends of the boat. We will start with the first crappie rods we bought. Zebco 10' crappie killer glass poles. They were 25.00 each and came with a little spinning reel. The only backbone seems to be in the handle.
We will need 2 minnow buckets. I want to do this right the first time so any preferances or reviews and suggestions would be appreciated.
As time goes by I will aquire the other stuff. If you have suggestions on the gear I've listed please let me know.
Y'all coached us from 0 to double limits in a matter of a few weeks trolling bandits. With the chill in the air those days seem short. Time to start dunkin minners and the like. Look forward to y'alls ideas and the like. ds
