Limit by 10:00 last saturday pulling 15" deep... Hope it helps.
Oh yeah... This is not off topic...
Take a chill pill dude. Daddy Rat knows its been good and he asked the question jokingly, hence the Rolf at the end of his post. If anyone has ever pm'd me I have told best I can where to go whack. Sorry we screwed up your Friday night by getting your blood pressure up!!
If you got BS....keep it on on off topic .....now.....
Did you ever think that maybe other people on this site that fish in MS wants every other person across the nation to know where the fish are bitin and what to catch em on and how fast to go and what depth to fish and what kind of boat to use etc. that's part of fishin if you don't know where, then go find em. If you don't know how read a book. It makes me upset that I can find fish and fish a spot for a couple of days and not see another boat. Then another guy that actually does his homework can can find the same spot and a day or two after that the spot is covered up with boats. Ill never understand how someone can do their homework find fish and then tell all about their spot
Slabmaster, a lot of these guys have forgot more than we will ever know!Get out there and give em a try and the satisfaction of succeeding will be your teacher. The more you try the better you get. These guys on here will begin to help you as they get to know you better. But like everything else you have to be patient and have thick skin!Just my :twocents:biggrin
who cares?
Just go fishing!!!!
If you're upset about people looking on the internet for info on fishing, why are you posting it on a site where you've obviously been lurking and trolling for info your own self, and not contributing anything at all, for nearly 2 years? You joined in Sept/2011 and you have only made 2 posts here :)
Don't get me wrong, you are absolutely correct, there are far too may people looking for their fishing pattern on the web rather than on the water, but it looks to me like you are doing that exact thing your own self. It is like that on almost all of these hunting and fishing forums, if you look at the membership directory, probably about 80% of the members have no posts, they are mostly a bunch of professional lurkers who only joined the forum for better search capabilities within it or for the ability to see pictures, not to contribute anything. And there are probably 5-10 more for each one of those gewbers who don't even bother to sign up at all.
BTW, nobody is going to give any specifics about Sardis right now anyway, I think they've got some kind of fishing contest there this w/end.
Yes sir you are correct two post in two years. But I look at the site every night before the days I go fishing. Because if there is a post about people catchin fish at clear creek or lespedeza guess what I won't be there the next day when I fish. I take great pride in knowing I come from a long back ground of fisherman and over years been taught how to fish and how to pattern fish. They do the same thing every year at different times of the year. So i at least know a general area to start. Because my dad and grandad were helluva fisherman it's been passed down to me. I didn't get it from a website sir.
Tush it ain't all like that. Some people just don't like givin up info, if you deer hunt up there in Tenn. Would you like to scout, plant food plots, then go climb up to stand and look at 15 other gewbers watchin yo food plot with loaded high powered rifles? This is a fishing forum, your correct about that, anyone that wants to post reports is welcome to, as far as the (BS), if ya cant stand the heat, get outta the dayem kitchen.
This is funny stuff! But on a serious note, there are many many experts, with many many years of experience on the site. If you pay close attention you can sift through all the BS. Most of its entertaining at least. I'm a novice so to speak. I've been fishing ponds and creek banks all my life and in the last few years caught the addiction to crappie fish. The posts on this board have helped me immensely. I don't care what information you put on this board, it takes a true fisherman to get out and catch fish on a regular basis, particularly, "out of season" for some folks. Its evident when you see someone pull up and five boats are in the same area are fishing, but only one person really catching fish. Furthermore, "How to" info is priceless. So, my vote is to continue the BS, and everynow and then pure genius will be the result.
Ha, I'm just messing with you. You should consider posting more if you're looking at the board that often though.
I actually agree with you on avoiding the throngs. To me there isn't anything more satisfying than finding your own fish, and there isn't anything much less satisfying than fishing someone else's fish. And you are dead right on the seasonal patterns, you learn that stuff and you will be able to find them yourself most of the time.
A blind drunk inbreed monkee can limit on Sardis now. And there out there every day.
that ain't a blue stripe on that ranger, it is aqua,
i just wish I lived closer so that I could get down there and pick up one of you perfessionals to learn how to catch more feesh, Heck I would furnish the boat minners and what everelse it took. The best way to get better is to go with someone that i better than you. I guess thats why everyone wants to feesh with handi...
Anybody can catch a limit on sardis right now. I even think you could single pole the timber and catch a limit. They may not be hawgs but they will be keepers, we caught fish every were we went so just go feeshing and have a good time :biggrin
