If you don't know how read a book. It makes me upset that I can find fish and fish a spot for a couple of days and not see another boat. Then another guy that actually does his homework can can find the same spot and a day or two after that the spot is covered up with boats. Ill never understand how someone can do their homework find fish and then tell all about their spot
If you're upset about people looking on the internet for info on fishing, why are you posting it on a site where you've obviously been lurking and trolling for info your own self, and not contributing anything at all, for nearly 2 years? You joined in Sept/2011 and you have only made 2 posts here

Don't get me wrong, you are absolutely correct, there are far too may people looking for their fishing pattern on the web rather than on the water, but it looks to me like you are doing that exact thing your own self. It is like that on almost all of these hunting and fishing forums, if you look at the membership directory, probably about 80% of the members have no posts, they are mostly a bunch of professional lurkers who only joined the forum for better search capabilities within it or for the ability to see pictures, not to contribute anything. And there are probably 5-10 more for each one of those gewbers who don't even bother to sign up at all.

BTW, nobody is going to give any specifics about Sardis right now anyway, I think they've got some kind of fishing contest there this w/end.
It's all over but the fryin'......

Ain't like it's hard to figure out. So easy right now, even a Hobbit can limit! If all else fails, just look for a big white saltwater boat and follow that gewber around.

Yes sir you are correct two post in two years. But I look at the site every night before the days I go fishing. Because if there is a post about people catchin fish at clear creek or lespedeza guess what I won't be there the next day when I fish. I take great pride in knowing I come from a long back ground of fisherman and over years been taught how to fish and how to pattern fish. They do the same thing every year at different times of the year. So i at least know a general area to start. Because my dad and grandad were helluva fisherman it's been passed down to me. I didn't get it from a website sir.

I know I stay away from the saltwater ranger with the blue stripe. My boat is too small.

    Answer...

As far as crank baits go.. There red hot at Sardis, we had our
Limit by 10:00 last saturday pulling 15" deep... Hope it helps.
Tush it ain't all like that. Some people just don't like givin up info, if you deer hunt up there in Tenn. Would you like to scout, plant food plots, then go climb up to stand and look at 15 other gewbers watchin yo food plot with loaded high powered rifles? This is a fishing forum, your correct about that, anyone that wants to post reports is welcome to, as far as the (BS), if ya cant stand the heat, get outta the dayem kitchen.

This is funny stuff! But on a serious note, there are many many experts, with many many years of experience on the site. If you pay close attention you can sift through all the BS. Most of its entertaining at least. I'm a novice so to speak. I've been fishing ponds and creek banks all my life and in the last few years caught the addiction to crappie fish. The posts on this board have helped me immensely. I don't care what information you put on this board, it takes a true fisherman to get out and catch fish on a regular basis, particularly, "out of season" for some folks. Its evident when you see someone pull up and five boats are in the same area are fishing, but only one person really catching fish. Furthermore, "How to" info is priceless. So, my vote is to continue the BS, and everynow and then pure genius will be the result.
