Sardis, Enid, Grenada, or Pickwick?
Pickwick
Neither one of you gewbers voted on the pole
pickwick.........
can a yankee vote
i want to if I can, it really doesnt make much difference to me which lake it is on. I just want to meet all you gubers(billbob taught me how to spell)and catch some of them big crappie. My vote can be bought for the right price.I may be easy but I aint cheap:biggrin
Do Pickick n try to get the timing where Miss, Bama and Tn all are there the same weekend. Kinda a Super Fall camp. An idea anyhow
I like DDs idea. That would be awesome. Only one rule. NO FOOTBALL. Don't want no accidental accidents. LOL
That ain't a pole. More like a stick that's been broke into 14 pieces.
I think each state would have their camp within their state boundries.
Another site has a national every 5 years at the lake the founder fished, Ken Lake Resorts. But that's for slimmers.
I don't really care where we have it, would like to see some new spots in the state.
Pickwick, with Nader being second choice.
Washington 3rd
Come on all you Nader Heads, get to voting!!!!!:biggrin
arkabutla:Rofl:Rofl
Pickwick!
Shouldnt have been anything on the list but Nader and Pickwick, in the other thread those were the 2 being talked about. Really dont even know why a poll was started, FJ directors put the camps together and kinda needs to be waited on until the new directors are set, just my 2 cents.
I think the poll is a good idea. Gives everyone a little input in things. I gotta drive at minimum a couple hours so what's a couple more if we do it up at Pickwick
I dont care where it is.....I will be there.....I even went to a mini-fall camp at Barnett one time years ago
The problem before with the poll was a bunch of gewbers that have never been to a camp and probably won't come to a camp vote on where and when were having camp. :banghead:
Our spring camp was the largest that we ever had. It had nice cabins....a good camp ground.....good pavilion....and the park people looked the other way about the drinking. Some parks would not do that......lots to think about here.
You learn something everyday. I had no idea the FJ folks had anything to do with camp locations. I thought everyone in the crappie.com community helped in this effort cause camp would never happen without the help of all the folks together.
I've stayed in cabins at Enid 4 times and have liked them all.
I've stayed in cabins at Sardis twice and didn't like them.
I drove to the cabins at Nader and didn't care for the road.
The cabins at Coleman are all downhill from your parking pad a good bit.
I have always camped at the TVA tailrace campground below the dam. New strickter rules in place. We couldn't camp there as a group.
Just a yankees 2 cents worth if you dont care. Somebody is always going to have to travel 3 or 4 hours to come to camp. I want to come and wilbur is talking about it , slab, billbob and that is us yankees.I started coming to your issippi forum when i was coming down this spring and enjoy you gewbers and have learned alot. that being said everyone that I hear moaning and groaning on here will be at camp wethere it is in their backyard or in BFE because you like to feesh and see your friends. So were ever you have it, aint everybody going to be happy, but if it is someplace new you might pick up some locals that have never been to camp before. Just my thoughts .
Just another thought if the feesh in is good after it is all over your all going to be saying Damm im sure glad we went there this year have to go back next year.
BFE, I like that!!!! :)
