The GVW rating has nuthin to do with towing ya gewber. That's the gross vehicle weight including cargo fat arses ridin in it and the fuel and this rating excludes trailer weight. So if ya wanna compare towing capabilities I'll look it up.Quote:

All manufacturers run their mileage tests with the vehicle on a roller, basically a treadmill. No resistence, and smooth braking and acceleration. Real world driving conditions are another matter.
Minner, if you get 18 miles a gallon, I'm proud for ya. That is darn good for a big truck. I know those GM's ride smooth, something I'm sure you appreciate traveling like you do.

Congrats on the new truck minner.....you will love it. I know I do mine and I do get 18 city and 22 on the road and its a crew cab 4X4. I have the 5.3 engine in mine.
Got the 5.3 in mine too but only get 13.5 combined.
