All manufacturers run their mileage tests with the vehicle on a roller, basically a treadmill. No resistence, and smooth braking and acceleration. Real world driving conditions are another matter.

Minner, if you get 18 miles a gallon, I'm proud for ya. That is darn good for a big truck. I know those GM's ride smooth, something I'm sure you appreciate traveling like you do.

Congrats on the new ride and enjoy the new truck smell while it lasts.

May do it. I've always thought if ya have any type of 4wd and get 15 mpg or better, ya doing pretty good. I'm happy and it don't matter how y'all gewbers feel. Y'all ain't makin the payment so pfffft. Now if somebody wants to make the payment, I'll drive a ford, dodge, subarau or whatever.
