As you can tell by the replies not many people been lately. Good luck and let us know how you do. Hope you catch em early before it gets crowded.
According to the latest fishing report from game and fish they are supposed to be biting in the pads on jigs and minnows. I've never done worth a darn over there personally but ive only fished it 3 times or so. im trying to find somebody to help me figure it out for crappie.
That AGFC report has not changed since May. I'm sure there are a few crappie in the pads but the dynamite it would require to get them out is illegal! LOL!
Wish I could help. Rotator cuff surgery will have me out the remainder of the summer. My only advice would be hit the pads early.
yeah it has changed i recieve the email weekly. the iphone app hasnt changed in a while though. you should go to their website and sign up for the emails to get the weekly updates.Quote:

Is the surgery as bad as I hear? I have a torn rotator cup as well in my left sholde and the doc is talkin surgery. I heard it's rough and takes a good while to re-coop.
I had open heart surgery in June of 2000 and rotator cuff surgery in Dec the same year. I will take the heart surgery over the rotator cuff any day of the week and twice on Sunday. However, I had the same shoulder operated on this past Dec. They have improved the technique a lot. Laproscopic surgery this time. They also gave me a pain machine called an EMPI that really cut down on the pain medication. I quit taking them 2 days after the surgery and just used the EMPI the rest of the time. Still had to sit and watch TV for a week before I could go to work but my arm is much better now. I would have the surgery if my arm hurt like it did then. You get to wear a sling for a while and your wife will have to do a lot of things for you. First time I had to wear a big pillow under my arm for 2 months then a smaller one for a couple of weeks. Have the arm fixed. You will be glad you did in later life. HookerQuote:
