I sent you a pm Rees
They only $28 new, tightwad!
Nope, I just got 4 new okuma's in the mail. Dirt poor now!
Well I have a complaint about okuma. I have 6 reels and one of them does not count down when reeling in. It counts up just fine. Have to hit reset button each time I reel it in. I've called the warranty service # for over a week and I always get a voice mail... Left my name and # and still have not received a return call.. not good service...

They $28 bucks..... They have some that are $169 each, those count up and down. :biggrin
Oh, I did spend $180.00 (6 reels) and got crap for customer service....

Thats not a problem for me as I hit the reset button every time I reel in anyway......you get a more accurate reading on the line going out that way.
I just wanna keeper fish to come in!!!!!

do them things not back-lash all to heck? I aint never liked a bait-cast reel simply bc my thumbs are to dang fat to get in there and hold the line tight!
Gator, do like I did. Take it off the rod, rear back and chunk it as far across Sardis as you can. Then order a new one. It's a lot more rewarding than dealing with customer service.
You don't cast with them....trolling reels.....you just let line out however many feet you want out and troll crankbaits. And then use reel for bring in the slabs.
Just send that one to me gator and order you another one lol
Can't drive that far for 28 bucks G. Lol

Get um Bill...lol
I know Bill gave you a great deal gator
So you just drop your line and stop it when you get the desired length out? Ive just used the ole trusty, cast it out, hmmm that looks like enough, maybe pull out a lil more and go! But now i be pushin cranks and i actually catch more fish I believe!
We go by depth charts to run our Bandits.......x number of ft. out and the chart tells us how deep we are pulling.
Well i know about the charts, but i aint never had the reels, i just guesstimate how much i have out!
I cast em all the time, specially on my first set and the inside and outside poles on the reset.
