[QUOTE=ducker;1944569]So you just drop your line and stop it when you get the desired length out?
Yep, that's how I do it. I guess you could cast em, but I don't.

I cast the okuma's, not a problem.
I ain't to good with a Baitcaster. I'd have a bird nest in mine, and my accuracy ain't so good either!!!

Hahaha aint too long before i get me a couple, right ater i get my reel-lite!
I dont use my Okunas any more. They look stewpit with a double minnow rig.
Wannabe...
I cast the outside poles and just let it out on the inside ones
All my poles are the same length so I can make my outside pole the inside pole and always cast to the outside. I like keeping things simple an consistent.
I always cast my outside rods also. I can usually chuck it 85 feet or so and it cuts down on the time lost letting line out. My inside and middle rods I will stick in the rod holder and freespool them due to the higher risk for tangling. The Okumas have a spool tension control knob that helps with the backlashes but it isn't magnetically controlled or anything so don't get your hopes up. It's all in the thumb.
