on the beating a dead horse thread--her is what I'm going for (as money permits)
two hi tec rod holders up front
5 caps and coleman trolling rods with 10lb fluorocarbon with 6lb leaders
bait casting reels (already on hand)
double minner rigs with gnats (sometimes jigs)
so there-pffffft.
CnCs are great rods but PSTs are good for pulling cranks and spider rigging
You can save money by using a cheaper monofilament 10 lb line and then use your 6 lb leader in the more expensive fluorocarbon. No need in winding all that expensive fluorocarbon up on the reel when 60% of it will probably never get used.....

Here's a tip fer y'all gewbers that use the pst's. A 10' BGJP tip will fit the 14'ers and give you a more sensitive tip for spider rigging. Plus it turns your 14'er into a about a 14'8"er.
