Best Eastern Kentucky Lake
Well, I'm trying to get my family into crappie fishing an I really don't want to take them on a Weiss trip just yet. So I'm trying to get some advice from some of you that get a whole lot more time to fish than me..Which is the best or the best's lakes to fish in eastern ky for crappie? An maybe a general area to focus on that lake..Like the tail or head waters any help will be deeply appreciated..Thanks an God bless
P.S I do more trolling than anything
Laurel Lake is great for smallmouths, walleye, and trout....
But doesn't have a big crappie population. Woods Creek Lake did have a good population, but overfishing and disregard for size limits have hurt the population. There are still some good fish there, but hard to find. There's also a decent population of good size bluegill for the young'uns to catch.
