If you don't locate some, check Academy or Wally World. They're not real expensive.

It's an 86 charger with a 90 horse on the back ft controlled troll motor up front I never heard of this company but did some googling and they seem like they make nice boats everyone on iboats seems happy

Put it in the water, idling will only tell you it will idle,,I'd want to load the motor, even if I didn't take it off the trailer..just saying

Those are nice well built boats. On par with champion, and ranger for that year. When I lived in Springdale late 80's there were as many of those on Beaver as anything else. 2 guys that worked for me had them an 86 and a 88. Both guys loved them. Like Xring said you need to put in water to run with load on it to see if it will idle ok. Muffs will tell you that it will start but no load will let it run even if carbs are messed up. Good luck with it and know you will enjoy.

The river is only a couple miles away from where it's at I was thinking about takin it down and runin it up and down there to make sure all the controls work too thanx for the help guys I'll let you know what happens hopefully this will work out so I can run with the big boys at camp

Palarm creek would be the closest access to the river from maumelle but see you said the boat may be in morrilton. Good looking boat. I'm with xring, make sure that motor does more than idle, those darn things are expensive these days.

I would for sure run it. It would also be a good idea to do a compression check on the motor, make sure the transom is solid, and the pull the plug on the lower unit after running to make sure there is not water intrusion. Charger boats have been around for a long time and have a reputation for building a good quality boat.

HEY RAKOPRTR. i saw that on craigslist and went and looked at it.About the worst i've seen in my 65 years.Don't know if it will run or not, couldn't get anything with jumper cables. Not even sure if it will float.Just use your own judgement, thought i would pass on what i thought.

Arky thnx for the help do u remember what was soo bad about it is it fixable if it runs

If you don't get a pair of earmuffs, I have some, but am about 8 miles north of Conway off of Hy 25 by Wooster. Probably buy a pair cheaper than the gas would cost to come after these.
-
I live just outside East End on Hwy. 167.
I have a pair if you still need them.

Thx guys but the way army made it sound I think I'ma put it in the water and make sure it dot sink on me lol
-
Good idea Rak - Make sure you go up stream. Good luck! Let some one know you left and made it back safe.

I looked at it a couple of days ago.2 or 3 of the lids r gone.Wires hanging and laying loose everywhere, carpet and seats are wore out.Flat tire on trailer. In my own opinion it is in really bad shape.Never could get the engine to turn over by using jumper cables off of my truck.Has 1 old battery in it.They said it hadn't been ran in over a year. And that they hadn't been able to start it.You might go ahead and look at it,everyones opinion is different.I didn't even make a offer. No tellin what it might cost to get it going.Again thats just my opinion.
