With the Lowrance Elite 5 DSI one of the videos on Lowrance's site shows them scrolling back to mark a brushpile as a waypoint. This is really a great feature but how long do you have to do this? Another words say I see a brush pile and a hour later (or whatever) I remember I didn't mark it. How long do I have to scroll back and mark it? Or when is it gone?
I believe the HDS has about 20-30 seconds recorded look back time, after that time it falls back in the water. ha . Me and billbob tried it out. Great feature. We didn't do a precise scroll back time. Good question Bill....It ain't in the book.:popcorn:popcornQuote:

Just move the cursor over and start backtracking. You don't have to stop the sonar. For instance, if you have 2d screen highlighted, just move the cursor to the left and keep going left. This will stop the active scroll and let you scroll history.

Is it also capable of recording to sd card.if so then you could use the track back for short reviews and the record for long time .
