if I was you I would put that one thing over yonder
Well WB I have a whole new respect for you now... I see you buy and use Klein Screwdrivers!!!! very good....now get to work!!!!!
Gator don't let him fool you! He borrowed them screwdrivers, probably from G3T
Andy we want to see finished pics by end of day, theres two of you "crappielovemonkeys"
Oh YEA!!! I just got my new boat seats by Fed Ex and he didn't chunk them over the fence....
Right, knew I had seen one somewhere, but not in MY shop... :cheers2
let me know when it's ducer time. I'll drive up and help !!!!!
WB to not worry about messing anything up. If you do i hear that EZ can fix it.:deadhorse
It's like this, Klein screwdrivers and pliers, channel lock brand channel locks, eastwing hammers, snap on sockets and wrenches, Stanley tape measures, Case knives, and check point levels..... best tools on the market
Screwdrivers = Leverage
Little Hammer = tap
Big Hammer = Whack
Starting to come together. 101 is ordered, seats have shipped, pump has shipped, etc, etc, etc, etc. Got a table in the shop set up to pile it all high. Worst part of rigging a boat is trying to get everything you need in one place, cause ya can't put seats on till ya got the holders. Can't put the holders on till ya got the TM in place. Can't mount the front fish finder till ya got all 3 in place etc, etc, etc.
Worstest part was trying to rig on that thang and keep G3T from trying to snap a pic up my skirt.

OHHH, we see whats up here/. Gonna bleed this um like a stuck pig trying to poutdo the Crankbait thread. LOL Sure hope it all works for ya this time WB. you need pedestals this time?
it all looks sooo tooo familiar
Nice start on the new boat WB, what is your plans for all the new stuff, what layout you going to do, accessories and such.
Well...starting front to back:
MK 101 Terrova US2 with the updated Ipilot
Hi-Teks up front
HDS 8 and 5 with LSS-1
Pair of New Seats on a MrGoodTime Add-A-Seat contraption. Gonna start with that and see if I like it. If not, I'll pop in a couple of seat bases.
Gonna get EZ to make me a rod carrier rack and put EZ's Holders on the back.
Add in a power bubbles and I'm good to fish.
Will also use a specially formulated hair gel imported from Egypt and a Corsair 5100XT styling iron on the do.
Repairs needed amount to a couple of box lights and a pump that's bad. Biggest repair will be to the trailer. It's got several nice rusty spots that need to be ground down and repainted over and a couple of brackets that may need to be replaced. MrGoodTime is gonna help me with that.
G3T is the official thangamajig fetcher, whatsit holder and rigging mascot for this project.

Forgot to mention, it's got some light hazy areas on the top cap from the front cleats back and some pretty good hazing on the nose. I've read all about finish restoration over the years and know how it's done, but I've never actually done it. Can't decide if I can get away with buffing and waxing to get it back or if I need to really bite the bullet and wet sand, glaze, buff and wax. None of that is expensive, just time consuming and somewhat of an art/voodoo majic to make it what you want it to be. Wish I had somebody to show me how it's done on a 1' section, then watch me do the next 1' section so I can be sure I'm doing the next 38' the right way. Last thing I want to do is have to do it twice.

Be sure and warn me before you post up pictures of how you janked up the FF power supply by splicing into the running lights or the front trim switch instead of taking the time to run a clean uncut and properly fused power wire all the way to the batteries. I need time to close my eyes. Thank you.
P.S. Your other plans sound great but you may want to go ahead and wet sand before polishing and waxing while it's cool out. Just sayin...
Been reading up on the gelcoat this afternoon. There's a spectacular thread on it on the BBC under boat restorations. Think I'm leaning towards the wet sand option. Scary stuff though. Anyhow, that's the last thing on my list. Looks to be quite a chore.
