I wear my woody max's for everything outdoors anytime the weather is cooler than about 65*. ultra sweet for fishing, doesn't hamper using a trolling motor like other bulkier boots. and if your legs get really warm, the neoprene part rolls down over the rubber easily, that makes them easy to get on and off.
also, I bow hunt on public land where you have to walk a mile or so back to get to the deer, while carrying a stand and gear. I have been doing this for at least 5 years now and my mucks have been on every trip. still have cleats on the soles and never get a blister.
