After finding out that my 3 bank charger was still under warranty I snatched it out and didnt pay real good attention to exactly how it was hooked up. I see that there is a jumper between the two trolling batteries and the actual trolling motor is hooked to the positve on one battery and the negative of the other (I think) but I dont remember if the trolling motor needs a jumper also. The first one with a good discription I will pm all my gps spots of where you will not catch fish at Butla.
On the TM its positive to batt one, then the jumper on Batt one is Neg to positive on Batt 2. Then the Neg on batt 2 to the TM.
ON the charger. It's pos to pos and neg to neg

#1) That's the first time I ever seen somebody come out and admit they's stewpit like that. Usually, I have to point it out.
#2) I'd have thought that DD had plenty of GPS coordinates with no fish on em.
Not so fast there reb. What you got - 1, 2 or 3 batts. 12, 24 or 36V Trolling Motor. Sorta makes a difference. Not that DD would understand all that. :)

I have a 24v motorguide tm, two 12v tm batteries, 1 12v cranking battery. I taped the cranking battery wires so I got it hooked up ok. A 3 bank charger.
I'm ugly too. So you want need to point that out either.

Yep, one jumper. I was worried you might have one the 12/24V TMs and there could have been a jumper up front, but if you're straight 24, one jump at the battery is all there should be.

Ok see if this makes any sence. Batt 1 has tm+, jumper +, charger + and charger -, Batt 2 has tm-, jumper-, charger- and charger+. Charger leads are going to individual batt. So batt 1 neg post only has 1 wire connected and batt 2 pos only has one wire conected.

Yeah, we could write it out, but since you're stewpit and ugly...I figure peachers is more better. :) Just hook one set of charger leads directly to each battery and you're good to go.

Charged all night and seems to be working fine. Cant thank you guys enough. Y'all can give me a hard time all you want to. The information that you regulars post on this site is awesome and very entertaining too. This list of stuff I have learned on here is slightly longer than the list of things I can be made fun of for. i call that a great trade off. Thanks agian.

Funny that you ask. I was almost finished with it, when I bit down on something hard. I reckon a piece of their lettuce shredder had broken off and made it into my salad. They waitress came around and asked how everything was. I told her I didn't care fer the metal croutons. I gave her the 1.5" long by 1/4" wide piece of flat metal that still had dressing, lettuce and slobber on it. She bout fell out.
