put mine in the pedestal base.
I use one of the pedestal holes. Oh wait. You got them pedestal holes won't nuthin fit.
my umbrella post fits in me seat bracket.........
It fits perfectly in a 3/4 inch pedestal base.
he has so many pedestals that SURELY one will fit!!!!! ;)
Slabo made him a bushin last year and he still couldn't make it work.
Yep my sportbrella fits in pedestal base.
I'm a little dense, why won't it fit in the pedestal base??
EZ, my pedestal bases are larger than standard. Forget the measurements exactly, but it's pushing 2". The bushings work beautifully, but that puts the umbrella directly in line with my pedestals which is a problem when spider rigging. The umbrella gets in the way of the rods when I'm lifting them up.
No worries fellas. An anonymous OTer has offered to help mill up a solution for me, but wishes to remain anonymous to protect his identity.

The Sportbrella you are talking about fits in a 3/4in seat post? Is it high enough? How big are they in DIA. Oh yeah last Question and I will leave ya all alone Where do you get one? Thanks Wilbur
here ya go, wb..................
Pole is actually 1" in diameter but steps down to 3/4" for the last 3 or 4 inches. I'd guess it's approximately 6' tall. I can walk under it and I'm 5' 10". You can get them at Sam's for somewhere south of $40. Can't remember, but think I only gave like $40 for min and it's 6' wide.

The one I got at Sam's for 38 bucks is 8 ft. wide.....works good, my boat is 7 ft. wide. I do like Scott, put the umbrella at the front and turn the two seats up front facing the back of the boat.....pull cranks off the rod holders in the back of the boat that way when reeling in a fish the umbrella is not in the way.
Thanks WB.
has anyone tried one of the "taylormade anchorshades"? been contemplating getting one for pulling cranks but kinda pricey.
Here you go WB. The bigger one is a standard 2" rod holder with a 2" pin in the middle to stop it from flopping around. The smaller one is custom made with a thumb screw to hold it tight for when I need to use the flaps on my Feelay umbrella to keep the sun off.
that's purty slick yikess!
Yep, feelay get's credit for the sale of lots of those 'brillas. I sure do like mine.
