I haven't but torch is always good with this kinda stuff...
Call DonDon, he's always ready to lend a hand.
Let me do it....always wanted to drill 6 1.5" holes in a transom. :)
Actually, Torch prolly is the man for advice on this job. Here, I'll raise the Bat Signal for him.

Yea it's not hard but you will need a few things a second momentary switch and a weather proof exterior junction box.
I thank my junction box is 8 inch by 8 inch but I will check when I get home and post some pics of how I set mine up.
that is kind of a touchy subject there, I would need lots of towels to drill my transom. You are a brave man maachuu
that's some great thinking right there
budget ?? wats dat ?? I got more goin out than coming in, is that what you talkin bout ? I operate outta da red, some folks like to operate out of the black but I dont like to follow trends :)

Umm...Marine Grade Silicone..specifically 3M 5200. The home depot, tub and tile stuff will break down eventually.

Here are the pics. The junction box is 6"x6"x5" it could be bigger butit works. I put the relays in it and a switch so I could put the transom saver on by myself.

thanks ole blue
ok, got it installed yesterday and tested and man it is sweet, moves up and down lots faster than I expected, gotta go get my box to put the relays in today and then will have to run my wires to my battery. does anyone know if it will hurt to shorten or splice in to the wires if needed ? reason I ask is that my switch wires are way longer than needed and the power cables are to short.
thanks
As long as they're terminated or extended the proper way, won't hurt a thing. Go ahead and spring for the heat shrink ends and butt connectors. Last thing you want is to be stuck in the up or down position due to a short from water intrusion.
