It is a loose talking points term. I wouldn't put a lot of faith in any of it. Kinda like the 8 times rms measurement of peak to peak power. Manufacturers make claims of relationships of 8x rms to peak to peak, however, this relationship is a coincidence of math only. I doubt anyone can measure these levels with any instrument at these advertised power levels. Very misleading information. Also the term "broadband" is loosely tossed about. These terms really sound highly technical from a pitchman who use these technical terms loosely.
