Gary....When you send your check be sure to tell him what weight you want etc. Mine will be here this week sometime and I will come by your house and show them to you.
you are going to make him drool G3 . Well I didn't tell you done little secret that I PM him and told him about it . We are going to start making the jelly jigs. The body in two different colors . We'll try to post some this week. So be thinking about what colors you guys would like to see. I know one of them would probably be a acid rain and probably a electric chicken.
Let you in on a little secret too....I was fixing to order some more but I am going to wait now so hurry up dadgummit. :D
man those are fantastic
looking good looking good, Have you fished them yet
yes, we are finished. Let me know which you think of the picture. This is a 1/32oz. It is very small compared to the picture.

On the Jelly Jigs.....I think I like the solid colors on the plastic the best.
The two tone colors look great on your baby shad baits but not on the jelly jigs. You could however do a Jelly jig with a two tone tail using dyed bucktail or kip tail........say...blue on the bottom and chartreuse on the top. Now that would be neat.
I think they look great either way
they may look better and 2 color on a larger jig like a 1/8 or 1/16 I'm sure that will keep messing around with the jelly jig and perfect more stuff we should be getting the new molds here pretty quick so we can put painted heads in them, which we will be doing some pretty elaborate painting on the heads we hope to make them number one in everybody's tackle box in the future just bragging a little bit but I think they are gonna be a top banana come toward spring. We have used them but I haven't got into the fish I would like but I'm sure that they will work just fine. It's up to you guys now to start catching fish on them . I'm sure you will not have any problems. And remember guys they come in many different tails . So just ask we have all the materials here to fulfill all your wishes and remember any color that you can think of is possible.
you can order squirrel tails and colors just about anywhere some of that stuff was sent to me is guys did not like it for some reason but you definitely could buy squirrel tail with brown and white or brown or any other color combinations and you can die them yourself I have tried dying some they all come out looking good I do not have very many in stock will see what I have and let you know what color are you looking for.
I have not forgot you I've just been so busy and we will definitely make you up some stuff when I get time I just tore off half my deck which is big yesterday and rebuilt the whole thing I have been doing more than what I should be doing or an old man I have never worked so hard like that for quite a few years and I still have more to do outside today leaving tonight to go pick up my fiancée it's going to be one busy summer for me for sure we are still trying to straighten out the house a little bit better so most of my time will be spent working on the house this summer I'm sorry I just haven't got time to work on other projects in the fishing stuff has taken a backseat for now we keep everybody in line out there I know you guys are wanting plastics and I apologize for not getting out there in the shop but I have things to come first before that remember this is just a hobby the fishing stuff but hopefully that we will get back into things here pretty quick I would like to post a few things on the site but not very many because it would take up more time away from what I'm really wanting to do to fix this place up to sell so we deftly think about you guys for sure. Not to mention all the honey do's I got coming upDoh
We understand Bob. Keep your priorities in order. We all have honey do jobs.
Since this is a DIY forum, would you mind sharing how you get the plastic body on the jig hook over the tied on marabou? I'm guessing slide on the soft plastic and compress it up against the jig head and secure with forceps, then tie on the marabou or hair, then release and the plastic body and it slides over the tied on marabou/ hair? Btw I really like it.
Nope... But there are a couple ways to get the marabou/plastic body. The first is to mold the marabou directly into the plastic body. The second is to use a needle to thread the marabou through the body after it is poured.
I'm not a plastics maker but I've read about those two methods before.
the original jelly jigs are molded is we tie feathers on the jig head first and put them in the mold and shoot to plastic you can get plastic bodies like I've been making and pull feathers through them if you like with a needle but the original jelly jigs are all molded right on the hook.
