The two tone colors look great on your baby shad baits but not on the jelly jigs. You could however do a Jelly jig with a two tone tail using dyed bucktail or kip tail........say...blue on the bottom and chartreuse on the top. Now that would be neat.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

I did make some of those up today but I didn't post a picture of them. We do have a lot of squirrel tail in two-tone.

they may look better and 2 color on a larger jig like a 1/8 or 1/16 I'm sure that will keep messing around with the jelly jig and perfect more stuff we should be getting the new molds here pretty quick so we can put painted heads in them, which we will be doing some pretty elaborate painting on the heads we hope to make them number one in everybody's tackle box in the future just bragging a little bit but I think they are gonna be a top banana come toward spring. We have used them but I haven't got into the fish I would like but I'm sure that they will work just fine. It's up to you guys now to start catching fish on them . I'm sure you will not have any problems. And remember guys they come in many different tails . So just ask we have all the materials here to fulfill all your wishes and remember any color that you can think of is possible.

I know one of them would probably be a acid rain and probably a electric chicken.
    Lime / chartreuse
    Chartreuse / white
    Pink / white
    Chartreuse / aqua

Those are all great combination colors, but from my field testing and experience, the fish love the solid color body with the contrasting hackle tail color.

Since this is a DIY forum, would you mind sharing how you get the plastic body on the jig hook over the tied on marabou? I'm guessing slide on the soft plastic and compress it up against the jig head and secure with forceps, then tie on the marabou or hair, then release and the plastic body and it slides over the tied on marabou/ hair? Btw I really like it.
