Wiskers, you could always try baiting a bunch of jugs while you tried to hook up with some on a pole. I made some from a pool fun noodle and bait them with small bluegill or shrimp. We always catch several cats this way and the kids have a ball chasing down those noodles. Hope to see hour nephew wearing the big blue jersey and going for number twelve or thirteen. I've got a bunch of PVC pipe jigs. I brought them up here yesterday to tune up and sharpen hooks.

Thought about the stripers but didn't know how well the boys would do with the bottom bouncing. Wouldn't be near as much lake lice to deal with though.
