Did you have minners in the tank
Yes they are 2 100 gallon tanks and both have about 2 pounds of minnows in them. I did not break the ice on top as I fill they will be better under the ice they are 2 aerators and 2 filter pump aerators still working under the ice. The minnows seem to live better in cold weather than in hot weather for me. I will be glad when it warms up this next week so I can do a little crappie fishing with them.
Cool, well cold!!!!:Rofl
Agreed, my tank froze too, Minnows OK tho...Where do you get yours? Ever tried to have them shipped from Loanoke, AR?

I get mine in Meridian or at Lakeway, Lakeway is higher and a lot of the time when buying big minners you are better off buying by the dozen. At Meridian they are 8 bucks a pound if you but 5 pounds or more.
I have been ordering them from Anderson Minnow over at Loanoke Ar. Where is Meridian & Lakeway? Thanks
I don't buy mine . My family has a catfish pond and it is full of them from fishing with them through the years. I just feed the catfish with catfish food and they come just like the catfish. I slap the water and the catfish leave and the minnows stay eating the food. I then throw a 5 foot cast net over them and at times I do catch a catfish but most of the time I catch just minnows. I have caught a dozen and up to a pound of minnows with just one cast. I have also used the 4 leaf clover minnow trap with lots of luck also.
