I'll be at Grenada March 25-27 and was wondering if wading there is any good. Also, I believe there is a tournament that weekend, so how does this factor in as well?

Most of the tournament guy will be spider rigging, Grenada has some great wading if you find the right spots. Just be careful when moving around, alot of people ride trucks and 4 wheelers in the lake bottom when its low and cut deep ruts that you can fall in.
be careful of the snakes in there. always pay attention to the overhanging limbs. had one fall inside my waders and neither of us were happy about it. gators on the move to
Gators...?
Gators is a good question haha There have been very few spotted on grenada lake and there are so few I highly doubt if you would have to worry with one bothering.
If I'm wading in that chocolate milk 1 gator is to many.lol!
I heard that! Any idea what this thing may have weighed? Caught at Grenada March 6, 2016.
That fish will push 3 lbs depends on how thick she is! 17 inches is rite at 3 lbs most of the time
Are you allowed to defend yourself from said gator at least? I like gator and could take him on (Mano e Mano) with my equalizer. Boys in green might frown upon that though.. what is grenadas gator season like? I remember growing up there and friend of mine had a hunting club in between Holcomb and Charleston.. they had a few gators in there lake best could be figured is they come in from the yalabousha river..
