I have a 1442 duracraft boat that I am wanting to set up for spider rigging. I'm not sure how to do this without having deck like a more traditional bass boat. any tips suggestions or pics would be awesome. Thanks guys

It all depends on what your wanting to spend. I have a 1436 and I just built a small removable front deck that fits in between the front and middle seat. It is not the prettiest set up but as far as functionality it works great! I spider rig and pull cranks with it. Attachment 210951Attachment 210952Attachment 210953
these three pics are how I pull cranks. And spider rigging I just mount my trolling rack by the front seat and sit in a one of the folding deer blind chairs.

Good functional, easy setup! Good job!
Thanks! It and pretty but it gets me on the water! :biggrin
That's cool. But I don't think a man of my stature could sit on the very front like that lol. I meant the one where you are sitting backwards. Can u post a pick of your trolling motor bracket I have the same motor but have mount it to the side
I dont think size would be a problem. Thats a 1436 and Im 5'10" 300 lbs and have no problems lol You have a 1442 so I think you would be good! I will get a close up of the motor mount this afternoon and post a pic tommorrow its homemade.
This thread had a couple of neat of fix-ups from this year

One of the wood pieces broke on me the other day but its only about 5 years old so it didnt supprise me! If you have access to a torch and a scrap piece of steel you can bend it to fit and roll on.
Sweet thanks man. This has given me lots of ideas. How is that deck you made mounted in your boat?
