We don't see many shovel bill catfish here anymore or as some call them, spoon bill's...
Used to catch a bunch of em at the spillway in Nader, that is one heck of a catch for sure!!!

Paddle Fish is what American caviar comes from. Because it is so profitable they have been poached so heavily you don't see them as often. I think you are allowed 1 per season!I know you had a blast for a while with that thing!!
OLD GEEZER FISHERMEN NEVER DIE, THEY JUST SMELL THAT WAY!!
He released the fish. Not sure on the weight but had to of been close to the state record of 65 pounds.
