satdoc uses a trolling plate. Yep your right ....no need for buckets.
Yep, work like a charm. Just look odder than DD in his speedos. Some things just shouldn't be.
Wannabe...
for when you want it to turn and sometimes it don't that well. I think I'm gonna get some 1/4 inch steel plates and bolt it on the trolling plate so that crank gets fixed and put it on the Bay boat. TIRED of chunking out 5 buckets to get down to 1.8 to 2 MPH BTW, Wannabe, I threw out the Speedo's, just don't wear nuttin no mo
Ewwwwwww!!!!
Thinking we may go down to Ross Barnett and camp out Friday night and MAYBE Saturday night. That is if they ain't messed the lake up. Either there or Claude Bennett, one of the 2
Torch and I both have the Troll-a-matic plate and it does work great. It is a lot better than the Happy Troller that DD has, just sayin.
Where did you and Torch get your trolling plates Sat?
Sat, and/or Torch. I read some product reviews on the Cabela's site & the only negative was a loss of top end of about 5mph. Did either of you experience this?
