anybody try lake hefner lately
yesterday and got nothing. Lots of guys were catfishing and the ODWC site had a pic of a large channel cat caught a couple of days ago. Let me know if you find any.

well it is thursday and just got the chance to read the board again i did fish for awhile yesterday caught a few small crappie in the docks. i talked to mike the singing fisherman for a minute he said the same for him .what i caught was on bottom and of course were 6"-8" water was mostly 48-50 degree maybe if the weather gets a little better the larger ones will move on in see ya sam
What dock were you fishing? I have a friend that has a slip and we've tried several times in the last week and nothing. If you were catching them in 6-8' then I have been fishing too deep. Good luck and keep us city bound fishermen informed.Quote:

for those who fish hefner...just look up and watch those on bikes and walking enjoying all the trails that we have bought them with the money we pay for permits....thats why fishing stinks...
