Been on a squirrel kick for a little bit and figured it was time for a few squirrel tail jigs. I don't have collarless jigs so I cut up some jigs on hand and went to tying. The paint jobs faired better than I expected, thankfully I am no perfectionist.Attachment 479407

They look very nice. I need to get out and tak a few squirrels for a friend to tie with and have squirrel and gravy for supper.

Love fox squirrels tailed jigs and Flys. What kind of chenille? Good combo there.
The package says "wooly bugger chenille" size small. It's got a pinch of flash in it. I bought it about 10 years ago, this is the first time I've used it!Quote:
