I bought these for the same reasons that you are looking. It's probably the single best boat investment I've made. There are several brands and styles out there for all types of boats. These are the easy step system. I can't claim they are the best, but I like them. They are pricey. Now that I have them, I won't ever be without some type of steps on my boat.Attachment 458700

Omega boat step d I y step kit on eBay. Last time I looked they had a kit for $149.00 that would make a great set of steps. Just have to weld, prime & paint, & install them.
I have a Trick Step on my trailer. They're pricy but well worth it. I'm 63 with 2 total knee replacements. Couldn't imagine trying to get in and out without it.

Go to a good muffler shop you know and have them weld up some using exhaust pipe,,,,I saw a guy on utube did some that way,,,
