Best day of 2021
A friend took me to a pond he fishes and said it wouldn't disappoint me and he was right. First seven casts produced gills in the 7-8 inch class and it didn't slow down much in the next four hours. Probably caught close to a hundred bass, crappie and gills in that time. Crappie were in the 9-11" range, lot's of gills in the 7-9" range with about a dozen bass up to 14". I was using tiny float n fly jigs tied with duck feathers with a 1/48 chub head on a #10 sickle hook under a weighted float. Fish were still biting when we stopped. It's been four months since my shoulder surgery and it's still sore but when fish are biting it's hard to stop no matter how much it hurts. I was so sore yesterday I could barely tie a jig.Attachment 415256Attachment 415257Attachment 415258Attachment 415259

Well, if you are doing something that makes you sore it might as well be something you love to do. Glad to hear you got out to wet a line!
