I like to tip these tiny jigs with Berkley power wigglers that I cut into pieces, get about four baits per wiggler. I slit them lengthwise first and then cut them in half. It gives the fish a little taste so they hold on long enough for me to stick them. Maybe these duck feather jigs taste like chicken, they sure do like them. I believe they eat a lot of little bluegill right now.
Though it was probably overdone a might bit, your shoulder got exercised, which is good for the healing process. And what better way to exercise it than a great day on the water catching tasty morsels. Glad you got out. Love the jigs too. I need to figure out how to get curled up feathers to straighten out. I'll figure it out...Great job all the way around.
Nice trip, glad you got the shoulder some exercise!

I don’t know how this slipped by me for so many days, my apologies. You had a day that we all long for. Hope the shoulder didn’t get beat up too much and lays back down soon. Chub heads are definitely working for you and I’ve liked those ties for a long time. Now the wait until you get to do it again. Thanks for taking us along.
Thanks for sharing. Nice outing

Heck of a day JJJ and that's how you get your shoulder back in fishing shape. You did well few days later with me horsing in that PB crappie!
