No, but I always wondered what it looked like in the raw. I've only acquired a taste for horseradish over the last couple of years.
But I must say, it is still a good way down my list of favorites, but I do like it on fish, roast beef, and liverwurst sandwiches.
Interesting for sure. Thanks for sharing.
Do you grow the horse radish or do you pick it wild? I've never messed with it but I do love horseradish

I have about a 10 foot row on the edge of my garden.
I never knew how it looked either. Interesting and thank you for sharing. I can imagine it is especially aromatic when it is being fresh ground
Yes,aromatic is the correct word, once the grinder starts a box of Kleenex is a must for the eyes and nose...and the box fan;)Attachment 412370 it was on high battling the furnace...35 degrees out..lol
WASABI ! :Rofl
What do you have to do to preserve it? Can it like other vegetables or just jar it up? I bet that was a workout for the sinuses, mercy! I like it but a little goes a Long way with me.

I can imagine it is pretty stout when it is fresh. I.am told it mellows out as it ages
