Heading up or north up ?

Which to use fishing way points ? (using helix-9 )

It comes down to which way you like I like heading up my nephew likes North up,.

I prefer heading

I like heading up.

Used a hand held gps from Garmin for years using "heading " . now making move to "north " . One of them old dog new trick deals . lol

Heading up!! If N up when going E W or S you have to think do I go L to R. Too much for my old brain

Now lets throw a wrench into this if fishing and using the trolling motor to stay on a waypoint which turns to a round circle and lose the direction arrow on Hbird then North up works better as you can see which direction the waypoint is in relation to the boat
