It Didn’t Rain Friday

To start this off correctly I usually plan to cook something special when it rains sense this crazy flu bug thing. Last week was Mother’s Day and went to Charline’s sons house and he cooked and not to be outdone I made something special for her tonight. It’s supposed to rain Saturday and Sunday so here goes. Nothing wrong with that, look delish. How do you make the eggplant meatballs, that sounds interesting.

You bake the eggplant and scrape out the inside into a wire strainer and squeeze the liquid out. Mix that with some sliced up french bread, eggs, basil, garlic and bread crumbs. Combine and roll into gulf ball size meatballs and stuff a piece of mozzarella cheese inside and bake. I followed cooking with Nonna on utube. Man talk about good, I will make this again.

I'm actually German decent but raised with the Bugalee's from Lafitte and Port Sulphur and I translate TONNAIRE as tornado or thunder ???
