Wacky rigging isn't just for bass !
Everyone has heard or used the Senko wacky rigged for bass. By accident I discovered a wacky rig for panfish using a 2.5" stick lure and 1/32 oz jig.

It doesn't look like it would have any action but believe me it has the same body/tip wobble as the Senko on the drop. Last year I caught over 100 fish on it in water 2'-10'. Much of the time I wouldn't let it drop all the way to the bottom but twitch it mid-depth and let drop a few feet.

It caught fish in water over 85 degrees:

So I figured, why not cut the curl tails of two grub and fuse the two bodies together using a candle:
