Tight line trolling rods
Hello all! Been looking around for a few years and finally brought home a new boat. I have bought 2 Mr Crappie 10' spinning rods for slow trolling but what is your favorite Rod? I like spinning rods because my 4yr old son will be with us when we fish and he cans use one just fine. I'm live in Siler City and most of my fishing will probably be on Jordan and Harris. Thanks for your info! Boat is a 218 dlv with I pilot. Also have 2 Mr Crappie Rod holders to be delivered today

I run 9 B'n'M Sam Heaton super sensitive rods paired up with 6925 Pflueger President Spinning Reel. I love these rods and reels they are super smooth and very sensitive for the lightest bites. I have read some forms were people beat these rods down because they have no backbone and say they break. I'll tell you I'm not had that experience and I've had them for probably 5 years and have caught thousands of crappie a lot of catfish up to 25 lb and a few stripers. You just have to be smart with your rods and not try to muscle everything. I have heard a lot of good out of mr. Crappie products as well. Good luck with your new setup and try not to catch them all.

Southern crappie rods for my poles out the front without a question

I have a number of Southern Crappie Rods and they are great. With that said their weakness is the ceramic eye liners. They will crack so regularly you need to inspect them as a cracked one will chafe your line which can cause a break
