Hey ya'll. I feel that the next Blackshear slabfest will be even better than the first. I was wondering if ya'll would like to get that family shelter thats by the Park office? I know it cost $200 per night but I feel that $10 per person, that is if we have 20 people, isn't that much. What I plan on doing is seeing what the majority wants to do and if they agree I will go ahead and reserve it. GOD bless the Georgia Crappie.com family.

my wife will be working that weakend . she will be off the 12 th and the 26 th
I will be at my first Slabfest if it is the 12th or 19th. I would be happy to donate for the shelter. Hoping I can hook up with someone to fish with as I have a pontoon boat on Allatoona and no trailer.
I'll be there and I'll bring reelcrappie.
19th sounds good, gonna be A LOT warmer than WP! I'll have my youngest son with me at this one. See if we can't give Score300 and son a run for the money!
As soon as the date is firm I'll make reservations. This weekend wouldn"t be too soon for me.
If it is on the 19th I think i'll be able to get to my first slabfeast.:) I have go work the 20th & 21st but I'll be free the 20th.
If no one has reserved yet can we do it the 12th... I posted the 19th last month but blackshear needs to have Papasage AND WIFE at it since they are the best host anygroup could ask for... We have to decide by Monday night and not change it. To get off work she would have to work like 15 days straight and put up with us...
