Fishing was OK. Fished Flat Swamp, water still stained temp 60+-.
Fished brush and docks, mostly 1/16 BG Vegas and at the end Key Lime (Thanks Two Dog). I’d catch one or two then they would quit. Quality fish caught 46 with most at least 10”. Only kept a few for a friend. Attachment 320832Met Chuck on the water. Attachment 320830Attachment 320831

It was a good time. I’ve had some hundred fish days with the one rod but the quality was good yesterday. I love figuring out where and what they are doing. Big fish for the day...still swimming. Attachment 320859

I find High Rock a challenging lake for me. But it definitely has better fish there. I need to commit to learning it better.
Nice job Steve and nice to see you today........from a distance. My first time on that part of the lake. As you know, I was long line trolling so I could look around. Did catch 20 and all nice size as well. I too only kept a few for dinner. Let the bigger ones go to keep making um. Nothing under about 10" and a couple around 13". Nice Lund day.....huh?

Were y’all at flat swamp area? I’ve been going to second creek since that’s usually where we meet for clash, etc. trying to learn that area. I can’t cover big areas in the kayak. Guess I need to go to flat swamp just for the experience and to maybe meet other Crappie.com members.
