Pro V gets em because he doesn't mind tying jigs all day long :)

I've been known to do that sometimes myself. :)
Heavy braid and light wire jigs help.
All the medium depth structure I fished just didn't have any fish or what was there had "lock jaw". I didn't fish any docks. Spent some of the day trying to catch a striper. Can't say that I marked what I thought was a striper all day.
It just goes that way sometimes. :)
Might try Thursday if I can get off work.
That wind Saturday mid day was tough. I found some spots out of wind but it swirled around and made it tough to stay in place.
I do go through a lot of jigs and colors. Usually either get fish bit or brush bit. I’ve tried weedless but seems to be fishless too. I fish 2 and 4 lb test vicious line mostly.
Sure is fun.

I bought alot of Bobby Garland from Wally World here in Thomasville, they had 8 or so flavors for 2.96 per 18 pack
Our Wally world doesn't have a big selection of them. I usually just buy online from one of our sponsors Fish USA and get what I want. I also found a good deal at Southern Pro on shad type lures.
I'm not a really big Gander Outdoor fan but they have a ton of crappie stuff. Much more than anyone I know locally except for maybe Bass Pro. Pretty cheap too. Academy is pretty good at times. They have more crappie rod choices and reels etc. They have a limited bait selection.
I’m an equal opportunity buyer. Haven’t been to Gander Mt in a while but Academy, BPS, Cabelas, on line Grizzly Jig, Notorious (local guy), Southern Pro, Fish Stalker on and on. I’m afraid I’ve got it bad.

Notorious is that the guy in denton? If so he use to work where I do....lol. Facebook is the only way to contact him but I don't facebook. Another guy I work with is trying to get in touch with him. They use to crappie fish together some.
That’s correct. Fish Stalker has the same type of lures that worked well in warmer months (pearl w/chart tail I think 1.75”)
