Maybe I'm in the minority but...and a battery question...
I absolutely love high water fishing. With all the wind, most years, I probably wouldn't even been able to fish most days with 5 foot waves. Not this year. Back in jungle is fun fun. Just something about dropping that jig down in a mess of vines and brush and THUMP!!! And not having boats on top of me all day long.
I do need a few extra batteries in my boat though. Getting thru that stuff is TOUGH! My batteries have gone dead every day so far after about 6 hours.
Which by the way I have a question. I have a 24 volt trolling motor with 2 batteries. IF I took along 2 extra batteries, how could I hook them up to make it work. Or can I use even 1. Sorry. I'm stupid when it comes to stuff like this. They won't fit in the battery well, so I'd have to leave them up on the back deck and connect using some battery cables or something.
I know wading is an option. I'm taking them next trip also. But mostly where I've been catching a lot, wouldn't be good wading. Probably sink in mud over my bibs anyway.
