I've been looking at these, too. Trying to decide between a Hummingbird 9 series or this. I was told that the 94sv is for salt water and the 93sv is for fresh water. Is that true?Quote:

The Echomaps have been selling extremely well. I would suggest checking the Garmin site to make sure your lakes are covered in the detail you may need.
