Crankbait pushing weights

I'm going to have to get with you on some of those custom painted cranks too!

I really like using them, if the water is real trashy I will use them on all the rods. the weight will catch the trash and not fowl the bait near as bad. Too sometimes the fish are holding deep, too deep to get a bait to them without the weights and this makes it easy, good luck.

The black one is a arkie that I painted the white and black one is a crappie crank

Use the Arkies a good bit when pushing, haven't used the other ones. The Arkies have one heck of a wobble, looking forward to fall with them, got a couple of 18 foot poles I intend to push the Arkies with while long lining, Scott caught some during the spawn doing that with the Arkies.

Ole Scott's weights are the right stuff for pushing cranks. I've been using them for a couple of years with great success.

You are welcome but I am no where near a guru, just willing to help the same way I was helped.

How do ya'll set up the line and use them? I have tried several different ways,, just wondering if you do things differently,,,

I am running Depth Hunter braid so I try not to do much if any cutting on my main line, so I just snap the weight to the end of that line and then tie or snap a 3 foot leader to the weight and then tie or snap the crank on.

I'm glad you got them. You'll catch fish with them, for sure. Try using some Arkie crankbaits with the pushing weights. That's normally what I have on my push poles.
