Scotty can you pm me so I can order some of your weights?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm thinking that pushing would be much better than pulling in standing timber like we have down here. Seems to me it would be easier to deal with. Do you guys still run the rods out the back of the boat? Thanks.
Randy most of us push from the front......just use your spider rig rod holders
I push from the sides just like I pull, just me. Rather the pole be to the side if I hang up than up under the front of the boat.
Well I push from the front but my rods are towards the side...I just turn my rod holders and use different length rods.
The pushing weights will pull the crankbait down the same no matter how you have your rods positioned. It seems to me that it would be easier to maneuver around obstacles if you were pushing with your rods pointed forward.
Makes sense, think I'll try them Scott. pm sent. Thanks.
How much weight do you use when running 20 feet deep (30 ft of line) at 1.8 mph using 10 lb test line?
