We used to catch eels at night Catfishing on the Arkansas River. What is funny is to see a newbie dip net one in the dark and then see the puzzled look when net comes up empty but line is through the net !:Rofl
I've caught and ate a few eels out of the river, but this one looked too snakey for me, not that I was really eel/snake hungry anyway:biggrin.
