Seems sometimes one vise is not enough
I thought I had too many vises since I had my Nor-Vise and a Renzetti Salt Water Traveler and one Peak. Well I let someone talk me out of the Peak, but I figure the Nor is good for a long time and the Renzetti can always fill in if needed for a short time. Well not so fast my vices said, that Nor is not spinning as well as it use to (I had a part in backwards or someone did, LOL!) so I called Norm and he said just send it back, so I did. I pulled the Renzetti over to where I use it and the first day the adjustment screw on the jaw broke. Not only was it a bear to get the threaded end out, but even worse the local hardware store didn't have a decent replacement. I called Renzetti and bought 2 of these screws as I don't want to not have a replacement for that is it broke ever again. So I sold my Peak, sent the Nor back and now my Renzetti is not really usable so there I went from over supply of vises to not having one to use, LOL!
Never will think I have too many vises again!
Oh and should have said today not only did I receive the Screw for my Renzetti, I got my Nor back as well. Also know this, when I took my Nor out of the package at first I thought it a brand new one, but then I saw the base was the same one, but he had polished the brass on it is why I thought it a brand new one for a minute and now spins like a new one as well.
