Off Friday! Where to fish?

Finally taking a day off to do some fishing. Been super busy with the newborn, work, etc. Haven't been able to go for about 4 weeks now so I am chomping at the bit! I live close to Henderson, which is my typical place of choice, but I haven't heard any good reports lately. Looks like the northern lakes is the place to be (Darbonne, PP-which I have no idea where that is) but too far for me. I was thinking lake Warner? Just finished reading one of the other post, so please don't give me the exact spot! Lol, would like to see my indicator go down a few times though..... Any suggestions fellas? :fish

And where is Poverty Point?

Any leads much appreciated.

you may not get an answer as it seems we are supposed to be secretive about the catching......if you want fish that are biting darbonne...pp...up north.......heard a couple reports from the mermentau that were good......ramp location is off of 90 past crowley??? it has been a year since I have been but it can be found on google maps...

jack millers had a good report as well recently.....sac da is an expert there....and shhhhh...but he is kind and will share.....

I would think the basin will turn on soon Where I will go this weekend. Unless I go to poverty. Tired of getting big fish text from a friend who is there all week. Course thevspeckled trout top water bite about to start. Might have to try that

I may go somewhere Friday as well, never been to lake Martin.

Hey quiet about the Mermentau I am going there this weekend. We don't need all those Yankees coming down and tying up to our boats:Rofl
I promise to post pictures of half of my smallest fish and say I was fishing 10 miles down river from where I was.:yikes
