She twisted it until I cried uncle.
I had promised my daughter that if I felt halfway decent Sunday I would go with her and family to launch their new boat. Her husband is familiar with boats but this one is nice size, 22' CC bay boat, and she felt she would be more secure with me helping with the first launch. Well the launching went well and we rode basically at idle for 1 hour as directed. We them put her on step for about 5 minutes and brought her in. Picking her up wasn't difficult, but it will take a few launches to have it all worked out. After the ride and then last night I felt good despite being outdoors and in the wind. My allergies stayed a bay.
So since that went well, today Linda "twisted my arm until I cried uncle" because she has cabin fever and wanted to go fishing. Well I don't know how the weather was where you're at but here it was gorgeous. It was partly cloudy and very mild, the temps got around 70 and it was more than she could stand. It was a beautiful Spring day. So I grudgingly gave in and off we went. We left around 10:30 from the house, and returned a little after 3. We ended up with 3 nice slabs and a smaller one and one bass. The larger slab was just shy of 13 inches. Of course Linda caught that one and the second largest. I caught the other two and the bass. All the slabs were males and three of them were right up against the bank. It must be getting close. I had put off another trip with my friend F.L. to go on an over nighter, because I was afraid I might have one of those awful night like I've had each time I've been out the last few weeks. He did get to go and returned with 13 very nice ones. By the way the water temps were in the high 50's and low 60's.
