Haven't been in awhile to know about the bite but you can check water levels here. Green River Lake Kentucky | Houseboats, Resorts, Marinas, Fishing, Cabins, Campgrounds in Central Kentucky . Click on lake level. Also you can click on 24 hour change and it will give you a chart of observed and forecasted. The lake has be slowly rising and its suppose to level out Sunday thru Tues. About a foot and a half above summer pool.
Gooch .... you can keep track of water levels at this site : Louisville District Daily Lake Report
Click on the blue numbers under "Today's Pool Feet" (across from whichever lake you're interested in) and it will show you a chart of the past year's rain & water levels.
I was there on Friday (830A-130P) around the Lone Valley area. Casting jigs & jigging brushpiles in 15-20fow ... and the dinks were hammerin :Rofl
Water's surface temp was around 72* (only checked it once) ... water color was normal
Bite was strong early, but tapered off towards midday. I checked this site, on Thurs, and it was pretty accurate for the timeframe I was there : Campbellsville Fishing Reports and Fishing Forecasts - weather.com
I was there mainly to do a shakedown cruise (checking boat/motor/GPS performance), since I haven't had the boat out in quite a while. And I had some GPS coords that I put into my depth finder, and wanted to see how accurate they were & whether or not I could even find them (since I'm still learning how to operate my Lowrance Elite 5DSI/chartplotter depthfinder).
I'm happy to say that my E5DSI was spot on, and it drew me some real purty pictures of the brush, trees, & pallets that I was looking for !!

I fished Friday but did not get on the water until 12:30 or 1 in the afternoon. I fished the main lake, numbers were low but the size was excellent. All fish caught over 32-43 FOW. There were several boats fishing the big Ferguson Ridge flat but I noticed that they either didn't stay long or they were fishing minnows/jigs around the shallow brush.
Water had very good color, 70-71 degrees surface temp, minimal floating wood above Lone Valley to Holmes.
Here's one from 41FOW, excuse the dirty boat carpet...it's on my list...

Another one. Fishing solo and playing cameraman is a pain...

Glad the coords were that close. Thought you may would have had to do some hunting in order to find them:HandsClapping.
Good catches there Adam, :ThumbsUp .. was you crankin them? Usually you are going home at that time (12-1).
10-4, longlining as usual. I had the planer boards out at one time but the wind started kicking my but and I switched it back up to my bread and butter. Had a lot going on at the house to get away early and I was being a wee-wee and waited for it to warm up a little bit. Fishing traffic wasn't bad at all but there had to be at LEAST 30+ toons on the main lake, they were everywhere. Wind was bad as usual for that time of the day so I had to change up the spots. The fish were in an unusual mood but a nice day on the water nonetheless.
fished green sun 8am-230 the bite was hot earley, but quickley slowed water temp 65-66 .all fish were on minners.ended up with 36 keepers.dad had the best at 12 inch.wind was bad after lunch.over all a good day.
